Champions wanted – German Six Sigma Award 2012 announced

Every year, the European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D) awards a prize for the best scientific work on the further development of the Six Sigma methodology. The “Quest for Six Sigma Excellence Initiative” is intended to recognize new approaches and ideas that are examined and presented in master’s or diploma theses and make them accessible to a wide range of interested parties. “With the German Six Sigma Award, we are pursuing two goals: the further development of the method and the promotion of young talent. We look forward to receiving many interesting contributions,” says Prof. Dr. Bert Leyendecker, member of the ESSC-D board.

The scientific papers can be submitted to the ESSC-D with immediate effect. An independent jury of experts with many years of practical experience will evaluate all submitted documents and award a prize to the work that enables the greatest progress in the successful application of the Six Sigma process optimization method. The award ceremony will take place in December and the winners will be presented and honored at the Six Sigma conference on March 7/8, 2013.
