The European Six Sigma Club (ESSC-D) has developed an app as a practical reference work for the Six Sigma methodology. It is now available for Android and IOS systems and can be installed on the relevant mobile devices.
Users will find over five hundred pages of information about Six Sigma. Special statistical terms, tools and graphical analysis tools are explained. It also describes how to create them in Microsoft Excel or the Minitab statistics software.
A project coach within the app explains the correct procedure for Six Sigma projects and provides support with questions about the correct project definition, project implementation and project completion.
“We have created a basic compendium for the Six Sigma method in Germany without offering specific products, which alone sets us apart from other apps,” says Herbert Theato, board member of the ESSC-D. The app is easy to use and even inexperienced users can access information with just a few clicks.
“The app is much faster and more comprehensive than all other current apps on this topic,” says Christian Nassler, Launch Manager at Continental. He has already tried out the app.
