The European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D) is an expert network of dedicated Six Sigma methodology specialists from many branches of industry and all areas of business. The association was founded in July 2007 and currently has around 700 members, of which around 45 are nationally and internationally active companies. The ESSC-D promotes national and international cooperation and disseminates its findings at annual specialist conferences. The ESSC-D members develop standards for the Six Sigma methodology, which are intended to serve the training of Six Sigma experts in Europe. They develop practical content for the training of Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts and define criteria for their certification.
