Award for top performance – German Six Sigma Award 2014 announced

Every year, the European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D) honors the best scientific work on the further development of the Six Sigma methodology. New approaches and ideas, which are examined and presented in master’s or diploma theses, are to be awarded and made accessible to a wide circle of interested parties. This year, for the first time, there is also the German Six Sigma Award Practice category. In this category, the best practical application of the Six Sigma methodology will be honored; Six Sigma projects from business and administration can be submitted here. “With the addition of the German Six Sigma Award Practice, we would like to emphasize the bridge between universities and the practical application of the successful Six Sigma methodology. We look forward to receiving many applications,” says Prof. Dr. Bert Leyendecker, member of the ESSC-D board.

The scientific papers can be submitted to the ESSC-D with immediate effect. An independent jury of experts with many years of practical experience will evaluate all submitted documents and award prizes to the papers that enable the greatest progress in the successful application of the Six Sigma process optimization method. The award ceremony will take place in December. The award winners will be presented and honored at the Six Sigma conference in Kassel on March 5, 2015.
