European Six Sigma Club (ESSC-D) offers basic workshop on automated data analysis

Wedel, 30.08.2022

From September 29-30, 2022, the ESSC-D will be holding a two-day workshop on automated data analysis with RStudio. In day-to-day business, data records need to be prepared quickly, visualized and searched for anomalies in order to derive suitable measures. This often involves new data records with the same structures every day. Suitable scripts can be used for data preparation and data analysis. In the workshop, participants learn how standard tasks can be completed quickly, easily and error-free. The result reports of such data analyses are generated by script or fully automatically. This saves working time, avoids errors and offers new possibilities for process monitoring and control. “At the end of the course, participants will be able to understand existing scripts for spreadsheets, graphs and analyses and adapt them to their own requirements,” says Michael Ohler from the ESSC-D Executive Board. Basic statistical knowledge, as taught in Greenbelt and Blackbelt courses, or experience with scripting languages, Excel or Minitab macros are not required to take part in the course. The basic workshop offers assistance and security for the first steps with RStudio. Subsequently, script solutions from this course or from relevant sites on the Internet can be used. The participation fee is € 950 for ESSC-D members and € 1,250 for non-members.

The next “Data Mining Basics Workshop for Six Sigma Belts and Methodology Experts” will follow in November. It offers an even deeper introduction to the world of data mining and machine learning. Further information can be found at www.sixsigmaclub.de under the heading Dates.
