Course description: This basic workshop offers the ideal opportunity to dive into the topics of data mining (DM) and machine learning (ML).
The focus is on the insight and application of selected methods for data analysis. Practical case studies will be used during the workshop, which we will analyze together and in group exercises using various software packages.
You will get to know the basic data mining methods and experience the software packages Minitab®, KNIME® and the programming language R in direct comparison. The workshop teaches basic concepts and methods for the structured analysis of complex data.
The number of participants is limited. It’s best to register now!
Note: The installation of the above-mentioned packages is optional. Participants are also invited to watch the analyses and actively contribute their thoughts. However, if you would like to gain some experience in using the various software packages, you should install them before the workshop.
