SUMMARY:Advanced Statistics for Six Sigma Belts: Insights into the Next Level
DESCRIPTION:Advanced Statistics for Six Sigma Belts: Insights into the Next Level \nDo you know that feeling when traditional methods are no longer enough to answer complex questions in a project? That’s exactly where this online presentation comes in: You’ll get an overview of typical practical limitations—and tips on how to successfully overcome them. \nIn this series\, we’ll address the following questions\, among others:\n• How reliable are hypothesis tests for non-normally distributed data?\n• How do I identify the main factors influencing binary response variables (pass/fail)?\n• What valuable information is hidden in my data\, even without looking directly at the target variable?\n• How do I identify the most important drivers of variation in my process?\n• … and much more. \nWhether in quality control\, in a production setting\, or in strategic projects—the tools are practical and can be applied immediately. \n–> Join us and discover how statistics can make all the difference in your projects. \nSpeaker: Daniel Fügner\, ADDITIVE Software and Hardware for Technology and Science\, LLC \n_________________________________________________________________________ \n \n  \nYou can find other interesting dates relating to quality management in the QZ-online.de diary\n__________________________________________________________________________

SUMMARY:"Design of Experiments (DoE) – Think Clearly\, Test Wisely\, Make Better Decisions"
DESCRIPTION:📅 Experience DoE —entertaining\, easy to understand\, and practical. \nWhy does it often not work out\, even though we’ve “tested everything”? Perhaps because we haven’t asked the right questions yet—or haven’t been systematic enough. This is exactly where Design of Experiments (DoE) comes in. \nIn this interactive session\, Stefan Moser\, an experienced DFSS and DoE trainer\, will show you how to analyze complex processes and products with ease and in a systematic way. Instead of getting lost in the maze of individual influencing factors\, you’ll learn how to use DoE to identify the decisive factors—quickly\, clearly\, and with visually striking results. \n  \nWho is this session intended for?\nAnyone who wants to learn more about their processes—whether they work in a lab\, R&D\, production\, or quality assurance. You don’t need any background in statistics—just curiosity and a desire to explore new perspectives. \n \nWhat exactly can you expect?\n✅ An engaging\, clearly structured introduction to the world of experimental design\n✅ Practical examples—from popcorn to polymer gel\n✅ Insights on how to learn more about your system with just a few experiments\n✅ How to use DoE to ask the right questions\, identify the right factors—and make better decisions \n  \nBy the end of the session\, you’ll know:\n🔹 What DoE is (and what it isn’t)\n🔹 Where its strengths and limitations lie\n🔹 And how you can use it effectively to address your challenges \n \nWant to spend 90 minutes that are well worth it?\nThen let yourself be inspired\, captivated—and provoked to think. This won’t be a statistics lecture\, but a journey of discovery. \n🧪 Design of Experiments – A Systematic Path to the “Aha!” Moment. \n_________________________________________________________________________ \n \n  \n  \nYou can find other interesting dates relating to quality management in the QZ-online.de diary\n__________________________________________________________________________

SUMMARY:Getting Started with R
DESCRIPTION:Data-Talk Workshop Special (Online): Getting Started with R \n\nWould you like to analyze data professionally and present it graphically?\nIt’s supposed to be free?\nThere are several solutions to this. One of them is “R.” \nThe “R Universe” offers tremendous diversity\, but it has the same learning curve as any programming language.\n\nIn this workshop\, we will set up the RStudio programming environment together and perform our first simple data analyses as a group. \nTo participate\, please download R and then RStudio (for free\, e.g.\, here: https://posit.co/download/rstudio-desktop/ )\, install them\, and join the Zoom session using this computer. \nSpeaker: Dr. Thomas Rietdorf \n_________________________________________________________________________ \n \n  \n  \nYou can find more interesting events related to quality management in the QZ-online.de calendar at\n__________________________________________________________________________

SUMMARY:Development of a sintering process: a practical application
DESCRIPTION:Development of a sintering process for power modules using the PERFORM method: A practical application case \nThe PERFORM method is a structured approach that bundles the entire development and optimization process of production systems into seven clearly defined steps. It helps engineers to systematically integrate customer requirements\, design decisions and process analyses\, minimize risks and sustainably increase efficiency and quality through targeted pilot tests and optimizations. \nFor electromobility and the necessary drive converters\, power modules are sintered onto heat sinks over a large area. The PERFORM method was used to develop the sintering process and optimize the inverter. \n\nP (plan)\nE (Engineer)\nR (Recognize)\nF (Formulate\nO (Operate)\nR (Review)\nM (Maximize)\n\n  \nThe project and the procedure will be presented and discussed in the online lecture. \nSpeaker: Dr.-Ing. Aaron Hutzler\, Bondpulse GmbH \n  \n_________________________________________________________________________ \n \n  \nYou can find other interesting dates relating to quality management in the QZ-online.de diary\n__________________________________________________________________________

SUMMARY:AI: between enormous benefits and the risk to our well-being
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is poised to fundamentally change our lives – both in our private and professional lives. But how can we ensure that\, like many supposed time savers before it\, it doesn’t end up costing us more time and energy than it saves? This webinar sheds light on the opportunities offered by AI\, highlights its current limitations and offers practical tips for a healthy\, mindful approach to this revolutionary technology. \nAbout the speaker:\nDaniel Fügner combines his experience in quality optimization as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt with his work as a yoga teacher. This combination enables him to shed light on the topic of AI from a unique perspective – with an eye for efficiency and a focus on mindfulness. \n_________________________________________________________________________________ \n \n  \n  \nYou can find other interesting dates relating to quality management in the QZ-online.de diary\n_________________________________________________________________________________
