SUMMARY:Workshop: Basics of statistics & data analysis
DESCRIPTION:This module offers a sound introduction to the world of quality statistics. It is aimed at anyone who wants to develop their data skills and apply statistical methods with confidence – in an understandable\, practical way and with direct benefits for everyday working life.\nParticipants learn how to apply statistical methods with confidence\, interpret results and act as an internal contact person for data-based decisions.  \nCore content:\n➡ Introduction to statistical methods for process analysis and quality control – practical.\n➡ Exploratory data analysis and visualization\, e.g. with boxplots\, histograms\, scatterplots.\n➡ Hypothesis tests such as t-test and ANOVA using concrete examples with interpretation.\n➡ Simple and multiple linear regression for forecasting target variables.\n➡ Dealing with non-normally distributed data\, including transformations for tests and modeling.\n➡ Measurement system analyses (MSA)\, also attributive and with image processing\, e.g. camera systems.\n➡ Process capability analyses and tolerance intervals\, including Cp\, Cpk\, Pp\, Ppk – for normally and non-normally distributed processes. \nDates (ONLINE)\n\nBlock 1 (6h): 12.09.2025\, from 08:00 to 14:30\nBlock 2 (5h): 19.09.2025\, from 08:00 to 13:30\nBlock 3 (5h): 26.09.2025\, from 08:00 to 13:30\n\nBecome part of the Data Excellence Experience – we look forward to your participation!\nFurther modules and information: LINK \n_________________________________________________________________________ \n \n  \n  \nYou can find other interesting dates relating to quality management in the QZ-online.de diary\n__________________________________________________________________________
