This means that this body now also has a member who focuses on process and product development and who is more in-depth in the associated Design for Six Sigma and TRIZ methods. TRIZ is the theory of inventive problem solving and is a proven innovation method. \u201cThis is an extremely valuable addition for us,\u201d emphasizes Michael Kierdorf, Chairman of the ESSC-D. \u201cWe warmly welcome him to the Executive Board and look forward to working closely with him.\u201d Former Board member Stefan Berg stepped down at his own request after many years of service. For many years, he played a particularly positive role in shaping the work of the ESSC-D&#8217;s many working groups. The ESSC-D would like to thank him warmly for his many years of commitment. Michael Kierdorf, Dr. Michael Ohler, Bj\u00f6rn Noreik and Prof. Dr. Bert Leyendecker were confirmed on the Board.
