The European Six Sigma Club (ESSC-D) is involved in the German resource efficiency program \u201cProgRess\u201d, which was adopted by the German Federal Cabinet at the end of February 2012. The program serves to promote the sustainable use and protection of natural resources. It describes new approaches and measures to increase resource efficiency in production and aims to make consumption more resource-efficient. It relies on the cooperation of voluntary initiatives from industry to expand efficiency consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises. This is where the ESSC-D would like to provide support. \u201cWhen it comes to increasing efficiency, there is no way around the ESSC-D. It is therefore very important to bring the Six Sigma Club’s methodological expertise to the topic of resource conservation,\u201d said Dr. Stephan Back, who was involved in the development of \u201cProgRess\u201d on behalf of the ESSC-D. <\/p>\n
