This module offers a sound introduction to the world of quality statistics. It is aimed at anyone who wants to develop their data skills and apply statistical methods with confidence – in an understandable, practical way and with direct benefits for everyday working life.
\nParticipants learn how to apply statistical methods with confidence, interpret results and act as an internal contact person for data-based decisions. <\/p>\n

Core content:
\n<\/strong>\u27a1 Introduction to statistical methods for process analysis and quality control – practical.
\n\u27a1 Exploratory data analysis and visualization, e.g. with boxplots, histograms, scatterplots.
\n\u27a1 Hypothesis tests such as t-test and ANOVA using concrete examples with interpretation.
\n\u27a1 Simple and multiple linear regression for forecasting target variables.
\n\u27a1 Dealing with non-normally distributed data, including transformations for tests and modeling.
\n\u27a1 Measurement system analyses (MSA), also attributive and with image processing, e.g. camera systems.
\n\u27a1 Process capability analyses and tolerance intervals, including Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk – for normally and non-normally distributed processes.<\/p>\n
