Monthly Data Talk - Finding answers together
The ESSC Monthly Data Talk offers an open space for questions, discussions and practical insights into Six Sigma and statistics. The focus is on your topics – be it a general or specific challenge in statistical data analysis, a project topic or the desire to exchange ideas.
Our hosts offer expertise and provide impulses, but you set the agenda: bring in your concerns, benefit from the expertise of all participants and find solutions together – openly, practically and constructively.
Meeting schedule:
– Brief introduction of participants
– Vote on the topic to be discussed today
– Discussion of the topic with all participants
– In case there is still time left, we have prepared an impulse topic. A topic that is presented by the host and put up for discussion.
This is how it works:
Bring your topic with you! Whether on methods or statistics. Register and let us know your request in advance or spontaneously.
Discuss with other experts! Benefit from practical experience and tips.
If no desired topic is brought along (a desired topic is independent of the impulse topic), we have prepared an impulse topic for a subsequent discussion.
Your meeting place for Six Sigma & Statistics

Your hosts – experience meets expertise
Our Data Talk will be moderated by Barbara Bredner (Industrial Data Analysis) and Anja Schauz(Festo SE & Co. KG) – two experienced experts in the field of Six Sigma and statistical data analysis. With in-depth specialist knowledge, practical experience and a feel for the right questions, they will ensure that each session is a real added value for all participants.
Barbara and Anja prepare a short impulse topic for each meeting to encourage ideas and discussions – but the focus is entirely on your questions and challenges. Both moderate the discussions, bring in practical examples and ensure that your voice is heard.
Whether you have a specific question or simply want to be inspired – at the ESSC Data Talk you can expect valuable insights, exciting impulses and a constructive exchange at eye level.
Impulse topics
Just in case there is still time for topics, the following topics have been prepared as “discussion impulses”:

- 06.05. Process capability analysis
- 03.06. Statistical design of experiments (DoE)
- 01.07. Statistical process control (SPC)
- 05.08. The right graphic for the right occasion

“During my 12 years at Festo, I surprisingly discovered my passion for working with data of all kinds. I like to take a very close look, because process optimization is a bit like detective work. Well equipped with my Black Belt, I like to throw myself into varied challenges. I learn best through practice, so I look forward to sharing my experiences with you!”
