Champions wanted for the German Six Sigma Award 2016

The European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D) is awarding the German Six Sigma Prize for the sixth time. Entries can be submitted as of now. The closing date for entries is September 30, 2016.

Every year, the ESSC-D honors the best scientific work on the further development of the Six Sigma methodology. New approaches and ideas, which are examined and presented in master’s or diploma theses, are awarded prizes. They are also made accessible to a wide range of interested parties. The ESSC-D presents a special award in the category “German Six Sigma Award Practice”. Six Sigma projects from business and administration that are already being implemented or have already been implemented can be submitted. “With the German Six Sigma Award, we want to promote the successful further development of the method. We are looking forward to the applications,” says Prof. Dr. Bert Leyendecker, member of the ESSC-D board.

An independent jury of experts with many years of practical experience will evaluate all submitted documents and award prizes to the work that enables the greatest progress in the application of the Six Sigma process optimization method. The award ceremony will take place in December 2016 and the winners will be honored at the Six Sigma conference in March 2017.
