The competition for the German Six Sigma Award 2015 begins

The European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D) is awarding the German Six Sigma Prize for the fifth time. Entries can be submitted as of now. The closing date for entries is September 30, 2015.

Every year, the ESSC-D honors the best scientific work on the further development of the Six Sigma methodology. New approaches and ideas, which are examined and presented in master’s or diploma theses, are honored and made accessible to a wide range of interested parties. A special award is presented in the category “German Six Sigma Award Practice”. Here, Six Sigma projects from business and administration can be submitted that are already in the practical implementation phase or have already been implemented. “With the German Six Sigma Award, we want to promote the further development of the method. We look forward to receiving applications,” says Prof. Dr. Bert Leyendecker, member of the ESSC-D board.

An independent jury of experts with many years of practical experience assesses all the documents submitted and awards prizes to the works that enable the greatest progress in the successful application of the Six Sigma process optimization method. The award ceremony will take place in December. The award winners will be presented and honored at the Six Sigma conference on March 3, 2016.
