Participants learn modern methods for evaluating and safeguarding product reliability. They will be able to evaluate service life data in a targeted manner, plan tests efficiently and act as internal experts for service life and reliability issues.
Core content of this module:
➡ Test strategies for service life prediction – from EOL tests to HASS, HALT and Success Run.
➡ Analysis of failure distributions and selection of suitable statistical models (e.g. Weibull, lognormal).
➡ Dealing with censored and uncensored data, including data evaluation of partial information.
➡ Calculation of typical reliability indicators such as MTTF, MTBF, B10 or Lambda.
➡ Planning and evaluation of accelerated service life tests, incl. Arrhenius and Coffin-Manson models.
➡ Use of regression techniques with service life data, e.g. Cox models.
➡Practical implementation of warranty analyses and interpretation of operational field data.
