Becoming part of a Germany-wide network

The European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D) is an expert network of dedicated Six Sigma methodology specialists from many branches of industry and all areas of business. The association was founded in July 2007 and currently has around 700 members, of which around 45 are nationally and internationally active companies, colleges and universities. The ESSC-D promotes national and international cooperation and disseminates its findings at annual specialist conferences. The ESSC-D members develop standards for the Six Sigma methodology, which are intended to serve the training of Six Sigma experts in Europe. They develop practical content for the training of Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts and define criteria for their certification.

Use the knowledge pool to expand your own horizons

With the help of the Six Sigma Wiki, ESSC-D LinkedIn group, expert panels and conferences, members have many opportunities to access knowledge and resources to which they would have no or much less access without membership. Via the Six Sigma Wiki, every member can expand the knowledge in their own company or for their own person, e.g. all presentations (over 200) of the Six Sigma conferences since 1999 can be viewed there. This allows you to benefit from the experience of other companies for your own company.

Opportunities to participate in the further development of the methodology

The Six Sigma methodology continues to evolve. Even if a company has successfully introduced the method, the exchange with other companies as part of the membership is very beneficial in order not to miss out on the further development of the methodology.

Non-profit status

As a non-profit organization, the association uses funds to further develop the Six Sigma methodology, for example through research and dissertations. In addition, membership fees are tax-deductible.

Ensuring quality by setting standards

The ESSC-D creates uniform and comparable standards for the training and certification of the various “Belts”. Such standards are not only important when hiring new certified belts. In addition, companies affiliated to the ESSC-D can use the ESSC-D logo on their certificates and documents and thus identify their specialists as “something special”.

All of the above arguments are important and can of course have different meanings for the individual or the individual company. Together with you, we would like to continuously develop Six Sigma and establish uniform standards. Become part of our community!

Become a member of the ESSC-D

With your membership you secure access to the Six Sigma Club Portal and thus the opportunity to participate in a large cross-company network. Experienced practitioners from all branches of industry are ready to pass on their experience.

We will offer favorable member rates for all ESSC-D events.

Applications via Office document for membership ESSC-D

We have prepared three forms in two Excel files for a simple process. Here are a few words of explanation.

There are basically three options for joining:

  1. You join in person and benefit from discounted participation in conferences and workshops, gain access to the internal knowledge portal and, as a personal member with voting rights, can actively influence the interests and fortunes of the association. The membership fee for this is 60 euros per year.
  2. You join the association as a company. If you wish, you and your company employees will also receive access to the internal knowledge portal and discounted conference and workshop participation. However, only one person is entitled to vote as a representative of the corporate member company.
In this case, the fee is staggered according to the number of employees in your organization. Up to 999 employees the amount is 200 euros per year, from 1000 employees 600 euros per year.
  3. You join the association as a company including all registered employees, but also use the option of personal membership to be eligible to vote with more than one person.

In the case of one, simply fill in the form for personal membership and send the file version by e-mail to the e-mail address provided and a printed and signed version by post or fax to the address given above.

If you wish to use the second option, complete the corporate membership file including the list of associated employees in the same Excel file and send the electronic and signed paper version as described above.

In the case of three, all forms are then used.
